INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE AND LESSONS FOR TRANSITIONAL ECONOMIES
Abstract
The digital transformation of healthcare systems has emerged as a critical factor in improving accessibility, efficiency, and quality of medical services worldwide. By early 2020, many developed countries had already begun integrating digital technologies into healthcare delivery, while transitional economies faced structural, regulatory, and infrastructural barriers. This article analyzes international experiences in digital healthcare transformation, focusing on electronic health records, telemedicine, health data analytics, and digital public health tools. The study highlights key success factors, systemic risks, and policy lessons applicable to healthcare systems undergoing modernization. The findings emphasize the importance of regulatory readiness, institutional capacity, and interdisciplinary collaboration in achieving sustainable digital healthcare reform.
